SUNDAY 1 MARCH 1970
Third Sunday in Lent
60th day - 305 days to come

Called Alex Randolph. He was working on a change in the rules of OFF COURSE and wanted me to meet him at the Hilton today. I decided instead to go tomorrow morning. When Alex called Martin Gardner they couldn't arrange to get to- gether but Martin would like me to show him Alex' games.

Joe Weisbecker called from Cherry Hill, N.J. He wanted to get to- gether for lunch tomorrow but I already have a date with Frank Armbruster. Arranged to meet him after. His wife will be there too.

Called Claude. Told him about "Infinity Corp." and my meeting with Frank Armbruster. Also told him about the letter from 3M and the good news on EXECUTIVE DECISION. Claude said that 10% was too much for me to give him on that game, for his suggestion. He said that if the positions were reversed he wouldn't give me more than 5%. We decided to leave it somewhere between 5% and 10%, depending on the tax situation at the time it becomes de- finite.

Packaged SEARCH and PE-LING, complete except for the rules.

Got the February SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN from BB's friend Edith.

Went over the game rules of Alex' and his Japanese friend's game. Copied GOOD KNIGHT onto a yellow sheet.

Had an idea for the game SPACE WAYS. Have contracts giving a set fee ( which could be arranged to be increased in some ways as the game progresses) for lugging cargos between two planets. First spaceship to reach the starting planet can take that cargo, play till all the contract cards have been used.
