SPECTRUM - saw that I didn't have all of the new ideas down
in the 1969 diary. I believe that I had the first player make
one move, The 2nd two. The 3rd three. And 4 there-
after. A player does not have to take all his move. Also think
it is a good idea not to allow the same size piece to be
transferred twice in a row, as well as prohibiting a move be-
tween the same two spaces twice in a row. Aside from
this a player can move the pieces in any order (not
in a specified order as in the previous version).
Made 4 cards showing the permissible piling order.
Made a summary card for PE-LING, tracing most of it from
the TRIAD card.
Sent back the card refusing GO to the
GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB (N.J)
Started a letter to Frank Thibault but noticed new low rates for
dialed telephone calls after 11 P.M. (35¢ first minute and 20¢
each additional) and decided to call him. Did in evening but he
wasn't in.
