TUESDAY 17 FEBRUARY 1970 48th day - 317 days to come

Barbara Francis called. She had some questions about the correc- tions I sent in. She said that the original change in Alex' introduction had already been set. I said that it wasn't essential, but she said that we should try to keep everybody happy and it will be changed. She wasn't quite sure about the place to add the X in the CUTTING CORNERS diagram. I sent her a tracing I made in the evening showing exactly when it went She thinks the next printing will be soon, possibly 5000, pos- sibly for the book club.

Called Phil Orbanes in evening. Bob Hallowell didn't make it to Phil's house last Friday. Will go there this week. He is anxious to come here and see my collection. Wants to see games and the EXCALIBUR puzzle [crossed out]. Phil and I agreed that I should just show the diagram of the puzzle and make [crossed out] a model only if he is interested. Bob also was interested in the idea of CINEMA and the other party games.

The SENSITIVITY game came. It looked quite good.

Mailed ABBOTT'S NEW CARD GAMES to Pierre Berloquin (see 2/5).

Cashed the $5.19 refund check from Hamleys (see 2/2).

Deposited the Stancraft check, except for some cash back.
