FRIDAY 13 FEBRUARY
1970 44th day - 321 days to come
Rcd. letters (addressed to Random House) from:
{ Peter Swift
Family Circle - Promotion Dept.
488 Madison Ave.
New York, N.Y. 10022
He has a dice GAME he would like me to look
at.
{ Stephen K. Howard
35 Lincoln St.
Gardner, Mass. 01440
He is a fan of ACQUIRE and TROMINO GO and would
have like AGOG to be composed entirely of games
of a similar nature.
He sent me the name of a bookstore where he bought
CROMPTON'S CHESS, a 4-hand variation.
He also asked if I was familiar with CHEQUERO,
CHASEBACK, CHESSERS, NIRTZ, HYPER-SPACE.
He would like the name of books with obscure board
games of strategy. Also he wants the name of the one
to contact at 3M about selling a GAME he is working
on.
Rcd. Feb. & March PANZERFAUSTs.
March had reviews for NAVAL WAR GAME ($2.50) and
MAJOR LEAGUE BASKETBALL GAME ($13.00).
Played SEARCH with Phil & Annette & BB. Played 3 games. The
first was over almost immediately because of too many
"wild" cards, which I shuffled in with the deck.
Then each player was given one wild card allowing a
2 factor choice. This could be used whenever desired but
then was out of the game. The remaining 43 cards were
shuffled and 4 dealt to each player. One was used each
turn & then replaced. Instead of asking for a file a player
could throw in all four cards and take 4 new ones from the
deck. Worked good.
