Armin Speer called. He is interested in my rewriting the rules for QUADS, since he liked how my X'Mas list column in S & T was written. He would like to see the one on QUADS and I said I'd send him my pre-publi- cation copy. I also said he should look at AGOG be- fore making up his mind to have me do the writing. I quoted him a price of $15 an hour and an esti- mate of 10 to 15 hours. He said that QUADS sold 300 copies thru GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB (N.J.).

Ran off repros of DICEY.

At barber shop saw Feb. 1970 POPULAR MECHANICS. It had an ad for CARIBBEAN CHECKER GAMES. C. Ljohn, 5118 Dorchester Chicago, Ill. 60615 ($2.00, color $3.00)
