Diane Jaust sent me the reviews of AGOG from the following:- PLAYBOY - Feb. 1970 (Diane marked it Jan.). Cleveland PLAIN DEALER - Dec. 14, 1969 THE GAMESLETTER - Nov. 1969. (Had this already.)

Rcd. a letter from Mike Abrams with material, mainly bibliographies, he picked up in a course on "games and learning."

Rcd. a letter from A.W. MacIntyre from whom I rcd. ASSASSIN! He wants advice on marketing his games.

Finished copying the index into the 1969 game diary.

Made a master for a notepad for playing SEARCH and ran off 4 copies. Each page can be cut to form 9 playing diagrams.

young children which makes it difficult. They invited us and I said we'd try. He mentioned one PUZZLE with stacked cards and I told him I didn't want to hear about it since I had something that might possibly be similar.

To 3M. Jim Kraus there and then Bill Caruson returned from another visit. ACQUIRE is steadily advancing and Bill still thinks it is their best game. BAZAAR is doing very poorly, almost as bad as PHLOUNDER which they are discontinuing. They admit that the fault in Bazaar may be the packaging. They haven't decided exactly what they'll do about it yet. VENTURE and MONAD will be repackaged in a small "Gamette" format. It is a small hinged book with storage compartments vacuum formed in the two halves. In this line, which will sell for $4.50, they will put the card games and also some smaller non-card games. They are looking for family fun games rather than complete strategy game. I told them that I was pleased with the change in VENTURE and Bill said that a [crossed out] purchaser had sent in the idea. They have had a lot of questions on MONAD, not complaints however. Kathy is rewriting the rules to simplify them. I said I would like to see what she comes up with the be- fore they are printed.
