Finished letter to Haar Hoolim, then copied a number of letters. Mailed letters to:-
Haar Hoolim
F. Daniel
Alex Randolph
Paul Greenough
Edwin R. Tucker (with P.B.M. PATTERNS II game)

Felicia called. She asked for info on the 8-cube puzzle by Funtastics. DOUBLE DISASTER (see 1969)
Dan returned MAN IN SPACE to her. We'll play it when I go there next week. Possibly we can place it - EduPlaytional maybe.

Rcd. ads from Dover. Put a folder on "games" (nothing new) in Book ads folder. Also some previous advertisements for books of peripheral interest.

Spoke to dad. He is having trouble translating MALE CARLO. Can't find half of the words in the dictionary. I'll see if I can be of some help when we get together.

Call from Tom Atwater. He rcd. the contracts for TEMPO, INTERPLAY, and ODD OR EVEN. When he called he had mislayed them but he was sure he'd find them and would send them out to me at once. The advances will come as soon as we send the contracts, singed, in.
Alex is coming to the U.S. in February. He and Tom are going to Minneapolis but they will also be in New York the last week of February for Toy Fair. We'll get together.
Hank Simmons will be winding up his 1971 line between Toy Fair & June. I'll show COUNTER POINT to Tom at Toy Fair.

BB and I saw 4 copies of AGOG in Pelham Korvette's.

Arthur called to check on Friday. O.K. at Wald's.

(cont. from 1/26) [1/30]

Henry has visited Wald and Arthur. He gave them a deck of cards with designs by Marshall McLuhan and they gave the deck to me.

I suggested that a series of HIGH DECK games would be good for the 3M card line and if I told Felicia so she would show it to 3M. They offered me a cut (in addition to Felicia's) which I didn't want. When I told them that 3M might change their rules (like VENTURE) they lost interest.
