340th day - 25 days to come
Felicia called. Asked if I had gotten her message from Dale.
Yes, and I think it's a great ad. She agreed. Claude (her) also saw it in "The Journal of Commerce."
She had a letter from Bob Edwards. PLANES is good and bad - it is fun to play but the rules are sheer torture.
Nothing on SPELLBINDER.
I SENTENCE U and ZEC-HI bounced very quickly.
They rcd. CHECKPOINT but haven't tested yet.
I told her about my letter from the lawyer on FITTING & PROPER.
The fellow from Samsonite, who she really enjoys working
with, flipped over STACK STICKS. He doesn't think
there will be any problem in costing it out.
Samsonite will be coming out with 60 new things--
all for children.
She thinks we are probably wasting our times with
Research Games. She played MOVIE STARS with a friend's
daughter, to whom she gave it. Both the back and the
front smudged. The girl also thought the rules were very

He called his plastic man while I was there and described
HABITAT to get an idea of prices, mold and a set
of pcs.
He didn't have any copies of NINE OF SWORDS on hand but he will
mail me 6 (the amount I asked for). The ones to
Lech and Pierre were already sent out.
He expects that he will sell about 12,000 copies this year.
He had a copy of Brentano's X'Mas catalog. It has SLEUTH,
EXECUTIVE DECISION and NINE OF SWORDS.
He showed me a novelty someone had brought him. A large
cardboard cannister is filled with plastic balls abt.
3/16 dia. In this are placed 5 pennies. The object is to
reach in and find them. It is very difficult and sort of
fun. It is a good item if he can lick the problem of
balls getting all over the floor. I suggested a lip on
the inside of the opening.
He thinks that FUN CITY is just about definite. He will
have a sample made up and hand painted by his designer.
He plays a game he calls THE FICTIONARY GAME, which seems to be
the same as THE DICTIONARY GAME. When they play it they always
have to scronge [scrounge] up paper. He would like to put out pads for playing
it. That started him thinking of putting out a whole line of pad
games, packaging an assortment of them in a folding kit, some-
