WEDNESDAY 10 NOVEMBER 1971
Martin Luther - Born 1483
314th day - 51 days to come
Rcd. a letter from Balysona Enterprises. Due to shipping
delays they are unable to send me BRAIN DRAIN (alpha-
meric games) and they returned my check. They will
notify me when their stock arrives.
Read the rules of THE GODFATHER GAME.
Jed Gaines called in answer to my call of 11/8. He is
going ahead with the name INTERACTION instead of
INTERPLAY for their game. He wasn't worried about Preston's
INTERACTION.
I told him how much I liked BRIDGETTE. He said that, coming
from me, that was the best praise the game could have.
Joel Gaines will be in town later in the month. Made a date for
11/22, but didn't set up the details.
BB typed my letter to Pierre Berloquin.
Wrote to Phil Cohen, thankinh him for the booklets he sent me.
Told him I didn't receive CHALLENGE & DELIGHT OF CLASSICAL & DECIMAL.
TIME (11/8) had an article on WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?, MR. PRESIDENT, and THE NEXT PRESIDENT.
Claude called. He is too sick to come here tomorrow, and
probably won't be able to go out Friday.
(cont. from 11/11) [11/12]
Gave Claude a check for &107.18 as his share of the
3rd quarter EXECUTIVE DECISION royalty.
[Started 11/12]
(cont. from 11/17) [12/14]
Charles Titus, when Felicia asked him whether they had a
game that up to ten could play, said they had one they
called COALITIONS which up to 6 could play. At first Felicia
thought it sounded like my PAYOFF, but it wasn't. There
is a hex board with a space in the center. There are pcs.
something like those in PSYCHE-PATHS. Starting next to
the center space these are placed in turn. Object is to get a
path to your side of the hex, and in order to do this deals
must be made. It is set up so that one side is always
reached . (Charles said that players hate each other after playing.)
