Rcd. a nice letter from H.A.K. thanking me for my evaluation
of TICKER TAPE and inviting me to visit him.
Rcd. an invoice srom S & R that RPM was being shipped
to me.
Macy's X'Mas catalog came. Very few games listed. For 3M
they had STOCKS & BONDS, FACTS IN FIVE, and two older
sports games.
At bookstore in Yonkers bought three books:
TANGRAMS - 330 PUZZLES by Ronald C. Read.
INTRODUCTION TO CLOB - E - OSH by Sydney Allison.
CALIBAN'S PROBLEM BOOK by Hubert Phillips (Caliban), S.T.
Shovelton and G. Struan Marshall.
At bazaar in Yonkers bought 4 dozen blue pencils and a
pair of red dice.
Prepared envelopes with the rules of HOLEY TERROR and
GROOVE (hand copied this one) to send registered to myself
but didn't get to P.O.
Called Fabio Coen. Supposed to call back but didn't.
Called Jed Gaines to tell him about use of the name
INTERACTION and that I liked BRIDGETTE. He was
supposed to call back but didn't.
From Sally BB got the copy of a Gimbel's ad in last
wek's TIMES for the NINE OF SWORDS, PLATO'S PLIGHT,
TRI-TAC-TOE, and THREE DIMENSIONAL CHESS.
Started a letter to Pierre Berloquin.
Read over the rules for BEAT - THE - COMPUTER.

TIME Magazine, in their 11/5 edition has an article
on the game. Apparently they bought a copy at Brentano's.
Met Jody Porter, the inventor of the game. He is a
writer for the N.Y. Times.
Spoke to a reporter from Newsweek who is interested in
games, but is connected with the business section in the
magazine. [Illegible crossed out] Told her about ACQUIRE and gave her
my card, with Pierce Promotions - 51st St. on it for her
to ask for a copy.
