268th day - 97 days to come
Rcd. 2 letters from PLAYTHINGS Magazine, mentioning S & T
Magazine, asking if I would want a subscription for

and they were quite good and didn't have any of
the problems we found in "Libra".

between 4 and 5.
[Started 11/5] [arrows pointing to lines above and below]
Showed HOLEY TERROR to Al and the method of solving it.
We worked it out correctly together.
(cont. from 10/18) [12/21]

POST had an article about Biaggi's attempt to outlaw
THE GODFATHER GAME. He suggested another game -

[started 12/21]
(cont. from 9/4) [12/22]
is dealt 4 cards which have various sequences of the four
planets. Dice are thrown in turn. The outside token is
moved according to the total. Then the four planet markers
are moved (how?). When a player gets them lined up
in same order as one of his cards he takes a chip
with the element rested upon at that time.
Win by getting one of each element. (How about a
score determined by the number of each element the
winner has multiplied by each other?)
Left a BOOK WORLD for Earl to read and return to me.
[Illegible crossed out]
Earl had 6 Checker Boards each for Claude & me. 40 [cents] each. Paid
(cont. on 9/26)
