SUNDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 1971
Old Defender's Day
Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity
255th day - 119 days to come
Thought of another puzzle idea - tentative name HABITAT.
Plastic squares - like box covers - have grooves on their
tops to allow piling of other squares in specific positions.
A base has grooves for starting the piling. Made a layout
using 5-4-3-2-1, for a total of 15 squares.
Made a model of the new HOLEY TERROR. Showed it to BB.
Discovered that a lot of logical thought can be used
in solving the puzzle.
On a rerun of Johnny Carson there was a long
section on CLASS, first using cards from the actual game,
and then ones made up for the program.
(cont. from 9/13) [9/14]
pay me. I said that when I do consulting work I
get $20 an hour generally, but that I'll come down
from that since it is not creative work in the usual
sense.
They will call me, probably as soon as I get back,
to finalize the deal.
Rcd. a call from
{Zena Gelman

{Philadelphia, Ps. 19116
Stellador is out of business. The remaining copies of MEM
were taken over by Creative Playthings (I think)/ Tulley --> Anatole Holt has another
7 games he'd like to place and she is working for him.
She wanted advice on where to place them and I said I
had an agent. She is interested in seeing her, even tho
the fee is 35 %. I told her I'd check on whether she wants
anymore clients and then send Zena her address. Also
told her I'd send the MEM reviews. (GAMEs.)
Claude called while Bernie and Seymour were here so I just
spoke to him for a moment. At the Merchandise Show he
saw a company "Festoon" which puts out various novelties.
They are interested in BIG FUNERAL, and possibly some
other GAMEs of a similar nature.
Rcd. another correct solution to the SLEUTH problem in S & T.
