THURSDAY 12 AUGUST 1971
224th day - 141 days to come
Rcd, a letter from Mary Hilt. She's sure I know of her
letter to Felicia on NOMINATION and MARLBORO COUNTRY.
Also, AIRLINE is being returned; she's glad I got the advance at least.
Phil Orbanes called. Bob Hallowell is hepped on
MANHATTAN MADNESS and wants his designer to come up
with a way of producing it.
SPACE STIX will be discussed next week. He'll let me know
how it comes out.
Told him about my meeting with Carl Eisenberg yesterday
and described HOLEY TERROR to him.
Phil asked if there are any political games to compete
with THE NEXT PRESIDENT besides WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?
Yes, 3M's MISTER PRESIDENT. Forgot to tell him about
CONVENTION.
His game is close to finished and he should have a copy
for me sometime in September.
Thinking of my puzzle of 7/20 MANHATTAN MADNESS II.
Decided to call it SKYSCRAPERS and worked out a layout
for 12 towers instead of 9.
Claude called. Among other things he asked me for his
layout for his game SUSPENSE. Made a copy from
my card file.
Rcd. the 1971 TOYS Directory Issue.
