I asked her about Harvey Gardner and the paperback of AGOG.
She has been talking to him almost every day. He is all for it but the board has to make the final decision. Reminded Felicia that I promised Random House an answer early this week.
She asked if I had sent AGOG to Dan Ferrone. Yes.
Went over the material dad translated from PIONERSKAJA IGROTEKA in connection with a letter to Lech Pianowski. Among other things, sent him a description of THE WORM TURNS and one of the ad sheets for NINE OF SWORDS, writing on the blank side. Almost finished the letter.
BB typed the 4 letters I wrote yesterday.
(Cont. from 8/5) [8/5]
Called Fabio. Told him that it is O.K. to go ahead with the Castle Book reprint of AGOG. I'll send a letter confirming this, and also mentioning that I understand there is no objection from Random House or Castle Book to my finding a paperback publisher. I'll also send in some additional errors and additions to the book.
Spoke to Fay. The one in charge still thinks I will get the copies of the books I want.
Working on the 3-D model of WILD WOOD PILE
(cont. from 8/9) [8/9]
Claude saw an ad for Featherstone's NAVAL WAR GAMES. Told him I already had it.
