Orangemen's Day
193rd day - 172 days to come
Rcd. a letter from R.M. Wilson of Neo Press. The inventors of PSYCHE-PATHS would be interested in hearing from my friend (Frank Armbruster).
Rcd. the book TRICKS AND GAMES FOR CHILDREN from Publisher's
Central Bureau -- finally.
Arthur called. He confirmed with Wald that the [box with a dot in it] are out in POWUR. In looking at my old entry on the game I saw that a player could use his placement of flags to replace a lost nomad; but the new rules he gave me do not permit this. Asked and he said that nomads cannot be replaced.
Wrote to Dr. Manuel Ma. Risueño. Sent him rules for CAROUSEL
and TEMPO.
Wrote to Charles Schaeffer about EFFIGY, and why my agent
wouldn't handle it.
Started a letter to Don Laycock in Australia.
[cont. from 7/14] [7/15]
TORTS - THE GAME OF LAWSUITS came back from 3M without a
letter and it looked as if it hadn't been removed from the box.
She sent the revised version of REVOLUTION AND COUNTERREVOLUTION
to Hallmark. Richard Altabef made all the revisions I suggested.
He thought I was great.
Told Felicia about the letter from Kathy Brooks on 2 hand
SLEUTH. She, Felicia, said I should under no circumstances
write to the woman who wrote to 3M.
I had written a letter to Kathy Brooks with my 2 hand version of SLEUTH. I had intended writing to the woman , but I that that part out
BB typed this letters and also had one to Eric Nielsen,
and Don Laycock, and Jim Goldsberry, which I finished this A.M.
[started 7/15]
(cont. from 7/11) [7/23]
SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN columns, the one with FOCUS. It is too late
to get in mentions of SLEUTH and EXECUTIVE DECISION. He does
mention AGOG.
He gave me copies of the following books:
NEW MATHEMATICAL DIVERSIONS FROM SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN (#3 of series), THE UNEXPECTED HANGING (#4 of series)
(cont. on 7/10)
