TUESDAY 20 APRIL 1971
110th day - 255 days to come
Felicia called to say she won't be in today. I'll call tomorrow morning
to set a time to bring PLANES to her.
Fay Hertog called. She spoke to the one in charge and the
35 copies of AGOG for me are on order from the warehouse.
I should get them, but Fay can't swear they'll come. If I don't get them in a week, I'm to call her.
Rcd. a copy of ODYSSEY from Mary Hilt.
Drove to The Copy Shop on Kingsbridge Road. Got two copies of
the rules for PLANES and one copy of the rules for
WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?. Also one copy of the game CAROUSEL to
send to Dr. Risueno in Argentina.
Packaged PLANES using a pencil box.
Ken Morgan called. Didn't set a time to get together. MOVIE MOGULS
seems to be doing well. Brentano's & Bloomingdale's have reordered.
The Museum of Modern Art will stock it.
Copied the board & cards from WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?
(cont. from 4/21) [4/21]
I.S. stockholder. It is just another device for replaying BRIDGE
hands for educational purposes. (Filed in 1971 Ad Clips.)
Looked at ENVIRONMENT but didn't get a chance to go into
it completely. The board shows a virgin planet with land
masses divided into 6 (I believe) large islands. Around the
outside is a path with the spaces colored in 4 (I believe)
different colors. There is a deck of cards color coded to each
of the colors on the path. These give projects, events, etc.
in 4 different classifications. Object is to achieve a
certain amount of development while keeping pollution within
acceptable limits. There is opportunity to trade things
such as work units, raw materials, etc. among the players.
(Very rough idea.) Development and pollution are noted by push pins.
Looked at the rules for KA-MA. It seems to work mechanically
the same as "Ouija" but instead of answering questions,
the board gives a location of your previous life, occupation,
etc.
3M seemed to say at one time that they definitely want to put
out TORTS-THE GAME OF LAWSUITS, but they haven't requested
her to send back the changes Gary Sherbell did in it.
Felicia let me keep the copy of WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?. She will
give one of her copies of SLEUTH as a house gift.
(cont. on 4/19)
