Rcd. a letter from Don Laycock. Among other things mentioned: - BOTTOMS UP,

Finished the rules for PLANES. Drew two illustrations. Dana checked the rules
and BB typed them.
Called Fay Hertog to tell her that I hadn't heard about the 35
copies of AGOG I was supposed to get. She'll check and call me back.
Felicia called. She finally rcd. a letter from Hallmark. The first series of
games will be in the stores by Oct. 1972. They didn't any games and
they are sending contracts for DUEL, TOTALLY, and TROMINO GO. They
are giving $500 each as a closing fee.
They are adding children's games and "execute pacifiers" to
their projected classifications.
They want to see the simple version of LIVE WIRE. The reaction
to the one they have now is 50-50.
Felicia thought maybe we ought to show WILD WOOD PILE to Hall-
mark
She rcd. her four copies of SLEUTH.
Told her I'd bring her PLANES tomorrow.
She has to raise $500 to pay the inheritance tax on $10,000 that
Alice left to the business, and doesn't know where. I offered to
loan it to her. She thanked me, but said "no".
Called Claude to tell him about DUEL. He told me that the copies of
AGOG in Marboro for $1.98 seem to be going fast.
(cont. from 4/20) [4/21]
Returned Harry Lorayne's Book to Brian Blake. He will check
with Harry if he is still interested in my doing a
GAME based on his system, and he'll get back to me.
