MONDAY 12 APRIL
1971 102nd day - 263 days to come
Rcd. a letter from Gini Scott. She has sent me a copy of
THE LIB GAME. She is working on another interaction -
discussion game, tentatively called TRIAL. She'll send me
one when it is ready.
A V.P. of Parker Brothers is interested in joining IDEAS.
She may be in for the Stationery Show.
Rcd. THE GAMESLETTER (Vol. 7, No. 25 - March, 1971). Also a
note from Don Miller.
Started going over the rules of EL TABLERO DE JESÚS I rcd. from
Pete Swift on 4/9.
Wrote to Al & Adela Richter telling them we expect them
this coming Saturday, and sent a map.
Wrote to Michael Dummett telling him that I had the material
he wanted (JUEGOS DE BARAJA exerts, etc.) and that I
would send the copies as soon as I heard from him.

players try to block the patterns they think the others are
trying to complete.
Phil suggested to Bob Hallowell that this could be done in
cardboard, rather than plastic. It would be dimensional, but
the mold expense would be saved.
Phil said that Bob Hallowell sent his apologies for not contacting
me to get together to see MANHATTAN MADNESS. He is very
busy now, but in about 3 weeks he will invited BB and me to
Mt. Cisco for lunch.
Phil, in the same vein of saving molding costs, is trying to get
Hallowell to do some more traditional board games for "bread &
butter. If I have anything that I think he might like, I should
bring that. I suggested SPECTRUM and Phil thought it sounded
like it might fit.
Phil also thinks that he is succeeding in getting Hallowell
interested in doing card games.
Hallowell will be marketing the computerized material that
Jack Heller (I believe that is his name) worked up. I thought
it was horoscopes, but it is a study of a person's
[crossed out] "Biorhythm." This is based on three cycles of
different lengths. Based on the customer's birthday
the computer will map the cycles for a year. Bob will
sell them at mail order for about $4. For another $2.50
about, the customer can get a study on how another person's
cycles match with theirs.
Jack Heller would like to meet me and see my collection. I'll
have him and Phil over next time Jack is in from Cleve-
