FRIDAY 19 MARCH 1971
St. Joseph 78th day - 287 days to come
Rcd. a personal letter from Mary Hilt, addressed to BB & me.
Thanked us for the dinner.
She got an OK from the Saxon man, "Templin", to have the
contract changed similar to the 3M and it is now only
a matter of getting the B. & B. lawyer to move on it. She
is going ahead on AIRLINE and TRANSFORMATION and has
put them in the catalog.
Thinking of a GAME idea. Use rotating wheels to create
a changeable board similar to the one for
RIDE-A-RAY. (Just a germ of an idea.)
[Drawing on left of page of 2 circles subdivided into 8 sections.]
Rcd. a personal letter from Mary Hilt. She thanked us for
the invite. She got an OK from the Saxon representative
for the contract change & she is putting TRANSFORMATION
and AIRLINE in the catalog. She hopes that Felicia will now
send her CINEMA and NOMINATION.
NEW YORK Magazine had an ad for WHO CAN BEAT NIXON?
(Gambit Games c/o THE NEW REPUBLIC) (Filed in '71 Ad Clips.)
Wrote to: Don Greenwood - can't write for PANZERFAUST for some
time; HAK - apologies for not testing TICKER TAPE yet;
Don Miller - with $1.25 dues; Dave Calkins - with PLOY review.
Called Rudy Lopez. Not in. His wife will have him call.
Played a game of BOUNDARY with Phil Laurence. Good. I was
two pcs. behind and came back to win.
Played PLANES, Phil & me against BB & Annette. Phil & I were
so far ahead that we didn't finish.
In my letter to Don Greenwood enclosed three dollars for
a year's subscription to PANZERFAUST, altho I still had a
few issues to go.
(cont. from 3/20) (3/20)
color. If the color comes up on one of more faces they collect the
number on the number die for each showing. If "silver" shows on
the number die, they pay 10 for each time their color shows up.
There are some more ramifications, such as (I believe) collecting
100 if their color shows up 4 times (Quadrume) with silver. There
is also betting on pairs and, possibly, other combinations. (Rough idea,)
TUMBLE COLORS:- A bagful of marbles in four colors are not in a cup and
then emptied onto a pinball type incline. At bottom is a flat plane with
holes. The area is divided into small spaces (about 4 holes) of the 4 colors.
Each marble that ends in a hole in the same color area as the marble
(cont. on 3/13)
