MONDAY 8 MARCH 1971
67th day - 298 days to come
Rcd. a card from Jerry D'Arcey. Said he saw all my games,
including SLEUTH, but didn't say where.
Rcd. an S&T staff letter.
Called Pete Swift. He has put in order for components
of EL TABLERO DE JESUS and would like to have the rules.
Will come here next Sunday and we'll play a couple of games
and then I'll write the rules.
Called Felicia and asked if I could bring WILD WOOD PILE to
her Wednesday instead of Tuesday. OK Mary Hilt will
be there 9:30. Told Felicia I'd try to get there by
10:00.
Drew up the solution for WILD WOOD PILE. BB typed them
and we walked to Boston Post Road for repros.
At John's bought some plastic pcs. that my be good
for game equipment at 3 for $1.
(cont. from 3/7) [3/7]
Another possible source is "Games Incorporated" in
Miami, Florida. He didn't know the address but sug-
gested that I look at a telephone directory at a library.
[Drawing on the left of a page of a large grid with several spaces colored green, red, mostly uncolored, and additional four spaces colored yellow with a symbol or spiral in the space. The center space, consisting of several cells says "SPACE WARP".]
Kingsland Cox Ltd.:- They have two very attractive board
game. Game me rules of both and
glossy pictures of the boards.
(Also a picture of their model
castle for miniature war-gamers.)
SPACEVENTURE:- Have rules and
board is as shown. Also have
picture of board with the rules.
CHE:- Have rules and a picture
that gives a good idea of the
board, but not the complete de-
tails.
Told "Peter Kingsland" I'd mention
the two games in my next column,
summary of the Toy Fairs. Then
when he is ready, send me samples
(broken down if cheaper) and I
will do extended reviews.
Gave Peter a copy of S&T. He said
his partner will probably subscribe.
Waddington:- Gave David Westnedge a copy of S&T with my
review of THE BUSINESS GAME.
Met Alfons M. Rubbens of House of Games. He is now
away from Renwal (a wasted year) and is tied in with
Waddington. Wants to get together next time he is in New York.
