SATURDAY 20 FEBRUARY 1971
51st day - 314 days to come
Rcd. a letter from Mary Hilt. She will be in town on
3/6, for International Toy Fair. She will call me be-
fore she gets in touch with Felicia.
Rcd. a letter from Al Richter (see 2/8). He is interested
in meeting Felicia. He sent me complete info on a game
of his, called CRETE.
Last night thought of a PUZZLE idea. Have a board with
a number of holes drilled in it. Pcs. are of dif-
ferent lengths and have projections at the two ends
to fit into the holes. The setup is made so that in the
solution pcs. fit along a vertical or horizontal, or
on the hypothenuse of a 3-4-5 or 6-8-10 triangle.
Worked up layout for a 12 x12 array board but
probably can do better.
Cut up a package of 6x4 index cards to use for
diary indexing.
(cont. from 2/21) [2/22]
Dick Rosen didn't get the models there in time.
They will not exhibit at the Toy Fair, but will be at
the Stationery show.
I told Felicia about the "Women's Lib" GAME in
PSYCHOLOGY TODAY that Gini had told me
about.
When Bob Edwards spoke to me he said that they always
insured packages going to Felicia, but that she didn't.
He is going to suggest to her that she insure each package
and that would be the value if the model were lost.
Wrote to Mary Hilt thanking her for her consideration
and inviting her here for supper while she was in for the
International Toy Show.
When talking to Felicia mentioned that Conrad Schwarz
and Albert Richter would like to contact her. She said by
all means, she needs things. She has very little to
show at the Fair time this year. I told her that I'd have
20 of my things by next year. She said to make sure
they weren't repetitive.
Called Joe Weisbecker in Cherry Hill. He didn't sell any new
games this year so he is not coming to the Toy Fair. Cadaco
is keeping DECISIONS, DECISIONS in its line, even tho it didn't
do at all well. His children's game with Parker did
(cont. on 1/31)
