FRIDAY 5 FEBRUARY 1971
36th day - 329 days to come
Wrote to Frank Armbruster, thanking him for TAKE FIVE
and commenting on VECTOR and TASMANIA.
Rcd. a letter from [bracket] Miss Maureen Moran
435 W. 45 St. 4FW
New York, NY 10036
Who is an AGOG reader. She likes ACQUIRE & MONAD.
She would like to buy a copy of INFINITY and
enclosed a postcard for answering her.
Rcd. a letter from John Geiger. He has been dropped by
Gary & Riedel. He is sending me three of his 6
new games, including DECALOGIC. After I have rcd. them
he will call me about getting together.
Rcd. a short letter from Gini Scott. She'll be in town
prior to Toy Fair, around 2/16. Would like to get to-
gether. Sent me Vol. 3 - No. 1 of IDEAS NEWSLETTER (which
I already have - extra copy discarded).
Rcd. a letter from Tom Atwater. He is going to Stancraft on
Feb. 8. Don't sign anything until I hear from him. He
sent me the SOMA instruction booklet (placed with double
set from Gem Color) and also the Japanese rules to Alex'
game SPOTS.
To Felicia. She gave me a copy of PLAYING CARD GOLF. (which,
she says, sells for $7.00).
Virginia Russell, who put out RACE THRU SPACE GAMES (see 12/6/70)
independently. She is interested in having it taken over
by a manufacturer. I played it with her, a full game
at level 1, and a little at level 3. It wasn't bad.
She is not sure yet exactly what she wants to do about
it. She will send me a copy but I won't review it
in S&T until she gives me the word to do so. I gave her a
number of suggestions for minor improvements.
Felicia suggested that I take home DATA as she doesn't
think she can do anything with it - I am free to try my-
self. Didn't take it since I was going in the rush hour
and had the other big box. I told her that I had to improve
it before I would be satisfied with it.
I told Felicia that I was thinking about a GAME on
recycling but that I didn't mind if she gave some
other clients the idea to work on. She said that she had
seen an inventor yesterday and had told him about it.
He had a war GAME played with a simple computer-like
device. She didn't want to handle a war game so he is
adapting the device to a non-war theme.
She was thinking of writing to GAMEWAYS tell-
ing them that we could produce promotional games
(cont. on 2/4)
