MONDAY 25 JANUARY 1971
Conversion of St. Paul 25th day - 340 days to come
Rcd. Nov. '70 and Dec. '70 INTERNATIONAL WARGAMER. Also a mem-
bership and subscriber list. Dec. had the start of a
4-part article on a new game, REVOLT. Not too clear.
Called Claude, in answer to his call last Saturday. He has
an idea for a word GAME, which came from his playing
PROBE quite a bit. He asked me whether Selchow & Righter
was interested in another word game. Told him about how
BALI fell down.
Told him of my TV appearance and all about getting to-
gether with the Pelham-Burns.
Felicia called - to thank BB for Friday night. She asked me the name
of the law game and the company that put it out. LAWSUIT.
Gary Sherbell, incidentally, also rcd. a copy of the game.
(cont. from 1/26) [1/27]
numbers 1 to 9 on them. Players take turns placing
a piece and first to complete a line of 3 adding to
15 is the winner. If the first player is allowed to
place 5 in the center he wins easily. He can be
prohibited from using 5, or from starting in the
center. A variation can be to use 16, or 14, as
the winning total.
Working on the illustrations & board for LIVE WIRE.
Rcd. a form letter from John R. Champlin who is in-
terested in taking over publication of the magazine
INTERPLANETARY COMMUNICATOR. He mentions several
space games:- NATH VI, TRIPLANTETARY, STELLAR EMPIRE,
GALACTIC EMPIRE, GALAXY; also he wants to run a game
he calls AMSIR-ARISIA.
A personal note asks for my help in writing for the
magazine, specifically a column on the NBC adult games.
Rcd. a card from Gametime Inc. announcing a move
on Feb. 1 to a new address.
[bracket] GAMETIME, INC.
