[Column headings: NAME, ADDRESS, TEL.]
(cont. from -2 ) [5/19]
Rcd. a letter Gerald E. Tauber of Israel. He has successfully con-
tacted Haar Hoolim. Now he has a GAME based on the
Periodic Table of Elements and wants advice on selling and pro-
tecting it.
[started 5/19]
(cont. from 5/20) [5/20]
WOMAN & MAN and THE FAMILY GAME were not in their complete
form. They will send me copies.
The fellow I gave the columns to yesterday said they were well-
written.
Herb Roth there and spoke to him a little.
"Jim Schisgall" - Sports Illustrated Games: Gave them a copy
of S & T #26.
As I was leaving Tom Shaw was passing. He asked me if I
was familiar with PRO FOOTBALL. Some years ago Sports Illustrated
in an article said that A.H.'s FOOTBALL STRATEGY was the best
Football game. A.H. has been using that in their advertising. Now
S.I. wants them to stop using the quote. Tom would like to know if
the games are similar enough to use that as a bargaining point.
Told him I am waiting for a game. He'll buy one himself.
Rcd. May PLAYTHINGS and TOYS. Nothing of particular interest.
Rcd. an envelope from Don Miller with a copy of "WFSA Journal"
which has reviews of science fiction games and mentions that
most are taken from AGOG. He also sent information sheets
on his other activities. On one there is a mention that
THE GAMESMAN #6 will be out soon.
Arlan Tietle called while I was out and I called back, collect
([phone number]]). He said they were going ahead too
fast with applications of their audio-video device, since
the hardware still has bugs. I'm to hold up on my GAMEs
for the present.
Call from Claude. Told him about Hallowell, Eisenberg, Orbanes, etc.
He hopes to hear from Kreskin. He hopes to get him interested
in his, Claude's, "swindle" UNCLE SQUARE'S MYSTERIOUS SAFE. I
looked for this in my file. I have record of it just be-
fore starting the diaries, but after I stopped making out file
cards.
Played POTENTIAL with BB using the new numbers. It is
a much better game, altho a little harder to do the adding.
