TUESDAY 29 DECEMBER 1970
363rd day - 2 days to come
To "Gary & Riedel." "Mr. Riedel" (the short one) gave me me the copy of Haar Hoolim HAAR HOOLIM PERCEPTION GAMES that I ordered. He got it from "ALPSCO" as a review copy.
I asked about RECKON. He still doesn't have copies. He is ordering some and will get a review copy for me. He says that the basic idea is similar to KRYPTO; what else can you do with a group of numbers? I said I could probably think of something, and he said that if I could the head of "ALPSCO" would be glad to hear from me.
I checked and he said that HAAR HOOLIM PERCEPTION GAMES was doing quite well
The President of "Plan B Corp." was there and I told him how I liked VECTOR, and that I also thought CARAPACE was good. Discussed my reviews and he said that reviews should be critical and I said mine were (alth. they could be a little more so). He said he'd like to subscribe to S&T and I told him I'd send him a copy and he could then subscribe if he wished.

To Felicia. Ruth Shaler there and Jerry Dougherty came later. They both liked what I had done with GO SEE. Jerry took the board and equipment; but I made a record copy first. He didn't think I needed to do further work now but will let me know if he needs something.
The inventor of TORTS - THE GAME OF LAWSUITS called Felicia to ask her if she knew anything about LAWSUIT which was in the Dec. PLAYTHINGS. He will send in the inquiry card.
Felicia told me that 3M was sending his game back to him for changes.
I forgot to take my copy of the PROFIT contract.
At "Schulte's" bought a spare copy of NEW DEAL SOLITAIRE.
Went to "Copyquik" on Waverly Pl. to get material copied. Couldn't have it ready till 5 (I was there at 2). Didn't leave it.
At a paperback bookstore on Waverly & Broadway bought RECREATION IN MATHEMATICS.
To "A&S" in Brooklyn. They had a lot of "3M" games around (too many!) including ACQUIRE, BAZAAR, MONAD, & VENTURE.
Saw POKERETTE (U.S. Playing Card). It is simply making POKER hands in a 5X5 square. Each player has a deck of cards which is placed in a special holder for easy access and another holder in which to place cards as they are drawn. One player uses a shuffled deck
