Rcd. $250 check from "3M", for PROFIT, altho there was no identification again.
The contract between "Infinity Quest" and me for NINE OF SWORDS, called THE SWORD GAME in the contract, came. Also an option contract to buy 100 shares of "Infinity Quest" stock at 15 up till 11/30/73.
Rcd. an ad for "Munro Games." They are action HOCKEY games, made in Canada. PLAYTHINGS sent my request to them.
Rcd. a card, mimeo report, and personal report from Father Daniel. Because of AGOG he has gotten a few orders for NUMBER FOOTBALL. He has a variation of BACKGAMMON which he calls FRONTGAMMON.
BB typed my SET column.
"Morris Bendick" gave me a Games Review from the 12/18 LIFE Magazine. It covers GHETTO, BLACKS & WHITES, and CLASS.
Felicia called. She was writing to X and wanted the name of my game that they haven't decided on yet: WHAT'S IT WORTH TO YOU?
She was also writing to Jim Kraus and I told her about the blue-green problem I noticed in the SLEUTH cards. She'll mention that in her letter.
"Andy," the inventor of COUNTER INTELLIGENCE, has another GAME which she is sending to X (after forgetting for a while. I never saw it - she says.
Walter York-Koenigstein has some strategy GAMES. She'll try to have him come Monday when I come.
Tried to call Claude to see if he wanted to go to the Skunkworks. FInally got him when I was at Carl's but he has another appointment.
To Carl Eisenberg. When I got there another inventor was just finishing. He had a game REBUS. I didn't get any of ht edetails, but from the cover I got the impression that cards with pictures on them were used for forming sentences. After he left I told Carl about CARTE BLANCHE. He said he really wasn't interested in the game, altho he would play it. The inventor had some inexpensive puzzles that Carl thought were good.
Showed the new model of MANHATTAN MADNESS (incidentally at home I added a scoring table to the bottom of the base) to Carl & he liked it. I went over the puzzle,
