WEDNESDAY 25 NOVEMBER 1970
329th day - 36 days to come
Rcd. another renewal reminder from PLAYTHINGS. Sent
them a check on 11/16.
Rcd. a letter from H.A. "HAK" Kuhn asking whether
I had rcd. TICKER TAPE. He enclosed a blank post
card which I used to answer him.
Wrote letter to Keith Tuggle asking about the status of
the ACQUIRE and EXECUTIVE DECISION rules.
Wrote letter to Tom Shaw about THE STOCK MARKET GAME and
PANZERBLITZ.
Called Pete Swift about his letter of 11/19. Told him of
my new layout for TABLERO DE JESUS and he wanted to see
it since he is having his artist friend work on it. I
sketched it and mailed it to him. On the matter of placing
chips beside the board instead of covering right on the
board I told him of my idea of placing them next to
the proper columns at the end of the board. He convinced
me that it was OK not to specify which coins are being
covered. [crossout] A player just has to com-
plete a group 2 longer than the last amount of chips
he "wagered."
Pete had another idea which I didn't like it all.
When a player throws a 7 he "wagers" the number
of chips he thinks he can increase the group to
and must stop when he reaches it.
In answer to Pete's question about this situation
[drawing of 6 squares in a row with dots in all boxes except the 5th] I said that moving a coin into the empty
space legitimately increased the group by 2.
(cont. from 11/27) [12/8]
Felicia mentioned that X was thinking of taking over the
2-hand card game BRIDGETTE.
[started 12/8]
