SUNDAY 15 NOVEMBER
Twenty Fifth Sunday after Trinity 1970 319th day - 46 days to come
Looked at POTENTIAL with the idea of sending it to X.
Then I checked the diary and found that they had
already rejected it, close to the start of the
project.
Proof read the typewritten sheets and the diagrams
for THE INFERNAL BINARY MACHINE.
"N.Y. Times" had an ad for SOLAR BASES (A game for the computer
age.) It is put out by: { University Creations, Inc., Dept. NN-L, P.O. Box 774, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034
(Since it is in Cherry Hill probably Joe Weisbecker has
something to do with it. I'll get in touch with him.)
(cont. from 11/18) [11/18]
and choosing (in my opinion).
Tom said he'd keep posted on what he hears from Hank
Lamb.
Claude called and invited himself for supper to-
morrow night.
He told me about BYZANTIUM being in TOYS & NOVELTIES
and I told him I had it.
I told him to make sure to get DUEL to Felicia. He
said he would and is also trying to think of a
novel looking board for LOA for 2 players.
He has played DUEL with Wald and Wald uses
strategy from GO-BANG so well that the use of the
pictures is eliminated.
November TOYS (they dropped the "& Novelties" starting
with this issue) came. Included are ZODIAC 111 and
ODYSSEY (featuring the packaging), CONFRONTATION,
SCUDA CHECKERS, BYZANTIUM, and GALLOPING DICE GAME
(which is not a game but a set of two regular dice
& 2 dice that throw only 7 or 11).
November PLAYTHINGS came. Included is an article
on Stuart Kaplan of "U.S. Game Systems" and their
TAROT items. He is working on a book on Tarot and
other old card games.
Also in Showcase - POKERETTE (U.S. Playing Card) and
CLASS.
Rcd. a very pleasant letter from Tom Shaw. He is sending
(cont. on 11/7)
