Twenty-Third Sunday after Trinity
305th day - 60 days to come
"Times" had mail order ad for DODECA, a BASEBALL game played
with 6 dodecahedrons. [Filed in 1970 Ad Clips]
Dana wanted to play ACQUIRE with his therapy group.
Went thru some of the very old sets, but finally he took
the (??)
(cont. 11/3) [11/2]
total readership.
Told Jim about EXCALIBUR and about my conversation
with Phil Orbanes. Jim said he has given up listening
to Phil's schemes. They never work out.
Wrote to Warren Buell telling him we were expecting
him over on Nov. 14th.
Rcd. the "EDMUND SCIENTIFIC CO." Catalog (#711). Had
OSS-I-LATION a game based on swinging balls
(including two sub-games; BINGO-BANGO and SINK-RO-NIZE)
on pg. 37. Some others that I know.
Dana played ACQUIRE with several people at his group.
It was well received.

Among the things that are going big at "Brentano's"
are SKI-DOWN HILL (by Durand), AQUARIUS 2000,
TIC-TAC-TEASER (a puzzle), BUFFALO BLOCKS (for designing - ?)
SPACE CHESS (by Rand- McNally - Felicia insisted),
THE PUZZLE OF LIFE (by Itemation) (A puzzle with 2
transparent pcs. to be manipulated together).
Time had a full page ad for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED PRO FOOTBALL.
Told Felicia about it and she said she was aware that
it was coming out and that she noticed it at "Brentano's".

I told Bob about my I'M ALL TIED UP and how I just
didn't take it that final step of having it tied to the players.
(Or was I afraid of strangling with permanent attachment.)
Also told him i knew Gini.
