TUESDAY 20 OCTOBER 1970
293rd day - 72 day to come
Rcd. a large homemede get well card from Felicia.
She called later and I thanked her.
She asked what SLEUTH was & I told her that it was the new
name for SEARCH. She asked if I was satisfied with a
similar contract for PROFIT, to be put out without testing in
March '72. O.K. (She had been the one who wanted a larger
advance.)
A professor from upstate N.Y. sent her rules for a game
THE INFERNAL BINARY MACHINE. It looks good & she is sending
for a model. She wants me to see it.
She also decided to take the model and rules for
AMERICAN RUMMY, since Jim Kraus said that they are
looking for games that are fun.
Oct. TOYS AND NOVELTIES came. New products had DRIVER - ED.
Rcd. another letter from Harold A. Kuhn, sent seperately
after he discovered my address in Martin Gardner's
FOCUS article. This time he included the rules for
TICKER TAPE but I couldn't get it all without the
equipment.
Rcd. a letter from Zona Gelman with a glossy of MEM.
Rcd. from Jim Kraus a copy of a very nasty letter concerning
MONAD and his answer sending the woman
copies of VENTURE, TRYCE, and FACTS-IN-FIVE.
