FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER 1970
282nd day - 83 days to come
To Felicia signed the PE-LING and DIGIT contracts and got
two checks for $187.50. No other word from X.
Felicia has heard from retailers that MONAD is not going
at all.
Rudy Lopez has been after her about LIVE WIRE and she
reminded me that I promised him by the end of September.
I told her that I have been thinking about it, but not
steadily since we both feel that X will certainly not be
doing anything with it for a long time. she said that X has
asked her about it and that she has two other places
to show it to.
Felicia's new next door neighbor, who bought out "A & L",
came in. He knows her from the early SCRABBLE days.
Felicia introduced me and we went into his office.
He is a rep for "Crestline", and the psy PSYCHOLOGY TODAY
games, and some others.
The latest "Psychology Today" game is BODY TALK. He had boxed
copies but said he couldn't spare one. Instead he gave me
a copy of the Oct. 1970 Magazine which had the complete
game.
Got two different "glossies" of THE CITIES GAME. They are
out of BLACKS & WHITES glossies but expect some in
next week.
They are handling the game BYZANTIUM that Felicia
told me about. Had a copy and I could see that it consists
of different colored and shaped pieces of plastic
that are placed on a blank board. He said that he has other
copies around and that i can get one next week and
that I can get one. I said that I'd call.

Herb said that business, particularly on "Crestline" and
the "Psychology Today" games, is very good. This cheered
Felicia up somewhat, but she said he tended to exaggerate.
Felicia said that for the "Rappaport's" catalog he wants
CLASS as the headline. She is trying to get VENTURE as
the headline. "Harold" definitely does not want MONAD in it
at all.
Called Jack Davis to tell him I'd be late. Felicia spoke to him also.
Norman Monath, who is involved in the deal with
"Brentano's" spoke to felicia before i came. The idea of my
demonstrating there is still alive, provided I was willing
to include BALI, which of course I am. She'll try and set
it up sometime around Thanksgiving or later.
She left with me. She had a date with Norman to play a
game done by a woman that he knows. (GAME)
Before going to Felicia's, bought 4 "jiffy bags" for
