MONDAY 27 JULY 1970
208th day - 157 days to come
Rcd. a post card from A. Dickens (A GUIDE TO FAIRY CHESS).
He will be in New York from 8/3 to 8/8 and would like to
get together.
Rcd. a letter from David Westnedge [Westridge?] of Waddington. THE BUSINESS GAME
will be distributed in the U.S. by "U.S. Games Systems."
Rcd. a call from [bracket] Mark Phillips
310 Montague Rd.
Amherst, Mass. 01002
also [bracket] School of Education
University of Mass.
He is working on use of simulation games for use in social
studies classes, particularly political games. He saw
me mentioned in NEWSDAY last week (Weds., Thurs. or Fri.) and
he also was familiar with AGOG. He wanted the address
of CONCESUS and I also told him about PARLEMENT and
where to write for it. He'll let me know how he makes out
with the games.
Called "Arnold Asrelsky" a reader of AGOG (see 6/14). Not in.
His wife took my number & he'll call.
Felicia called at work. She rcd. report from 3M.
$1,544.89 for me.
She also had a letter from Bill Caruson which said,
among other things, that Keith would be sending the
contracts for EXECUTIVE DECISION soon.
(cont. from 7/28) [7/28]
tember.
I took TOTALLY-- and TROMINO GO back with me. The rules
were not with them & Felicia called Jerry Daugherty.
I spoke to him. The people at "EnJay" didn't return the rules
and he didn't press them since they were repros.
GO SEE is now with "Continental Air Lines" and there may be
an answer in a month or so.
Felicia's friend "Sue Roussin" saw AGOG listed as an alternate
for the "Behavioral Sciences Book Club." I called and spoke to
her at her office. It sounded like the same folder as
the science & the Executive Book Clubs. She'll give it to
Felicia. She enjoys AGOG greatly.
Allan Turoff came over. He brought ABBOTT's NEW CARD GAMES
for me to return to Claude. He remembers Claude's game
JOIN UP (LOA) and thinks it was great.
He brought back the PUZZLE that he fixed. It is a large
cube with 6 fairly simple manipulative puzzles on the
faces. I suggested the name MULTI-PUZZLE.
Later Allan & I talked about royalties and the question
