FRIDAY 24 JULY 1970
Pioneers' Day (Utah)
205th day - 160 days to come
Fay Baker called at the office and then again at home. Amy Amy is
working on rewriting the rules for TREASURE HUNT. Bill Todman
has been calling her while she was in California. She is not sure if
it is about games or about her book. But she'll find out.
She is now interested in starting a company for putting computers
in the living room. She wants to use my game for advertising
the company. She'll try to get Todman, me, and "Pierce" of
Bell Labs involved in the company.
The book BRIDGETTE came (and I sent for it Tuesday!).
Rcd. a letter from Haar Hoolim, a copy of one he sent to
"Karl E. Smith" who was written up in Time Magazine as an inventor.
The invention mentioned in the article was a rear
view mirror - nothing at all to do with games. Haar tried to talk
him into working on games. He suggested that he read AGOG.
In answer to the Playthings card on MOVIE MOGULS I
rcd. an ad sheet from "Research Games, Inc." as [illegible crossed out] well as
the former they put out the following sports games : -
VINCE LOMBARDI'S GAME (Football)
PRO BASKETBALL STRATEGY (Oscar Robertson's)
PENNANT FEVER (Gil Hodges)
A CENTURY OF GREAT FIGHTS (Rocky Graziano's)
VIOLENT WORLD OF PRO HOCKEY (Rod Gilbert's)
Also a letter from "David LeFebvre" of the Bruns Advertising Agency.
