St. Swithin's Day 196th day - 169 days to come
Called Mickie Mackay. She hasn't rcd. STRATEGY POKER yet.
Will send THE CHECKERED GAME OF LIFE by messenger.
I told her that since she has only the one copy of
the game, if Jake wants it I wouldn't mind waiting un-
til the regular production.
I asked her about the newspaper syndicates and she
said she had discussed it a little, but will try and
go to lunch with some of the people.
Felicia called. Her lawyer told her she should have the corres-
pondence from I. Pfeffer. I reminded her that I had al-
ways expected to return it. Will next time I go there.
In a phone conversation with X they hinted they were
going to make the announcement at the end of the month.
They want to see GENIUS BLOCKS after reading the
rules.
They are anxious to see TANGLED WEB after Felicia
said how different it was.
X is interested in PSYCH-OUT but the inventor is
very impatient. Felicia talked him into waiting until
the end of the month. She'll take it back then but
won't handle him any more.
X is not particularly rushed with INDIAN CHESS, but
then they say, the sooner the better. I said I'd write the
rules next weekend.
Natelie Donna came in and, after I sent my regards, sent her
love.
X sent $250 and a contract for CUBITS.
Bill Caruson as much as told her that the "Ed-U-Playtional"
Line was being phased out.
A later call from Felicia. Impact returned TOTALLY-- and
TROMINO GO. "Enjoy" has decided against games and they have
no other prospect for the games. Felicia and I decided that
we'd send them to X, after I check them next week.
Called Marvin Katz to confirm our date for Saturday for
the GRIT interview.
Reading A HISTORY OF BOARD GAMES OTHER THAN CHESS on subway.
"Al Costellas" in the office asked where he could buy FOCUS.
One of his nephews would like a set. Al plays it with
his daughter & they both like it very much. Told him I'd
check with Whitman at 200 Fifth Ave.
He said that he saw BAZAAR in a different package at
Korvette's in Nanuet. I am afraid that he made a mis-
