WEDNESDAY 1 JULY 1970
182nd day - 183 days to come
Call from Felicia Diane. She she checked with the "Public
Affairs Assoc." (I believe that's it) about AGOG on
their list. They never heard of it. She said it must be
some other list and she wouldn't know anything about it.
Felicia called. She spoke to Jane Jordan (spelling?) who is
in charge of the Game exhibit at the Hallmark Gallery.
She had sent letters to all the game companies. From 3M she
got an answer that they were too young in the game business
to be of any help to her. She gave me Jane's number

and I'll call her.
It is no longer necessary to keep X secret since it is general knowledge.
Rudy Lopez called Felicia. Any arrangement we make is O.K. with
him. Felicia asked him to come in and sign an agreement.
He asked - wasn't his word good? (It is with me. ) Felicia
has LIVE WIRE at the office but we didn't discuss a time
for me to pick it up.
I told her about Diane's call. She offered to write to Bob Edwards
but we agreed it would be better for me to do it.
his address:
{Robert P. Edwards
{New Product Development 8B
{Hallmark Cards Inc.
{Kansas City, Mo. 64141
His letter read as follows: "I noticed Sid's book on
the "Executive Book Club" list. Congratulations.
Called Jane Jordan. she wants SERIOUS GAMES after reading '
Abt's book of that name. Told her about my games and she
said they definitely qualify. She would also like to see my book.
Told her I'd get them all to her.
The exhibit will consist of historical games from the
"Parker" collection and also another collector (whose name
I forget). In addition there will be exhibits of modern
games and daily demonstrations from manufacturers each
of whom will get one week, three hours a day. Among others
"Urban Systems", "Stellador". and "Western" (I believe) will
demonstrate. Latter will show GHETTO, GENERATION GAP and
other classroom simulations. There is time available if
3M wants to demonstrate.
I mentioned 3M's original letter and she said some
companies didn't answer at all. (Later I found out from someone that
"M.B." didn't answer.)
She definitely wants me at the press preview on 7/21. Would
like a resume on me before.
She knows about the "Hallmark" game program. If it was
out already they probably wouldn't have had this exhibit
