SUNDAY 28 JUNE 1970
Fifth Sunday after Trinity 179th day - 186 days to come
Misplaced the material I took and rcd. from Pete Gersten.
(see 6/25). Called Anne to see if Claude had taken the en-
velope by mistake. Later I found it and I called back.
Worked on game diary.
Found the information on LIFT OFF (see 1/27).
(cont. from 6/30) [6/30]
After Steve left Felicia told me that she had rcd. word from
Kansas City that the Hallmark Gallery would be doing an
exhibit on the history of games. They didn't know much about
it and gave her the one to contact here.
She told me that in a letter from Bob Edwards he said he saw
my book on the "Executive Game List" - congratulations. I
suggested that she check with Bob what it was but she said
she'd rather not. She called Norman Monath (inventor of
BALI) who runs Cornerstone Press and asked him. He had heard
about it but couldn't put his finger on it. I'll call Diane Jaust
about it.
Felicia had the Gamette packaging of VENTURE, MONAD,
HIGH BID, and OCTRIX. Mounted the first three on the wall
and took the last home with me to check on, as per
Jim Kraus' request. Read it over and think it might be im-
proved by counting each trick by the value of its number,
multiplied by it's sequence factor, if any. Towards the end
of the hand it is easier to plan strategy and these tricks
should count more.
From work called Diane Jaust. She thinks inclusion on the
"Executive Game List" is very good. She check with Washing-
ton, where it is published, about getting a copy.
I asked if she had heard anything on how AGOG was doing.
When she meets Fabio he says he is very satisfied with it.
I transferred to Fay Hartog. Fabio is out of town but
will be back next week & I'll call then. Ordered another
5 copies of AGOG. Fay said she had forwarded a letter from a game buff
who called first.
Claude called for Felicia's number. Wants to make an ap-
pointment to show her GENIUS BLOCKS tomorrow.
Arthur called, just to keep in touch. Nothing specifically about
games and no dates.
Felicia called in the evening. She spoke to the secretary of
the one in charge of the Hallmark Gallery. She was interested
and Felicia will talk to the head tomorrow.
