SATURDAY 27 JUNE 1970
178th day - 187 days to come
Caught up on the game diary thru the trip to Europe and the material there
which I returned. Read over CHANNEL X,
MATHEMATICAL GAMES, and GLOBALL.
(cont. from 6/28) [6/30]
Claude called her today and she wanted the truth about
GENIUS BLOCKS. I told her it was a cube puzzle, but a
good one and that she should keep an open mind.
She didn't hear from the inventor of INDIAN CHESS and she
is going to write to him to tell him to pick up his game.
She had a meeting with Y. She didn't give me any of the
specifics (saying that she must have been crazy to tell me who they are).
But it came thru that they will be a lousy bunch
to deal with and won't want to give royalties. I told
her that I didn't want to submit to them then. She hopes
that X will submerge them.
Called Jim Dunnigan to check. He'll be here Thursday. I'll
drive him to work and do some xeroxing.
At Felicia's today she said that her friend Sue had
borrowed her copy of AGOG and was devouring it. Asked if
I could get her a copy at wholesale to gibe it to "Sue". O.K.
I mentioned to Felicia again that I had a puzzle that I am sure
that just about any company would take (the new version of
FITTING & PROPER, but that I don't want to have it tied up
by X until I know they are going ahead. Felicia said that she'd
write to them about it and set a time limit. I thought that
could antagonize them and told her not to do it.
