Felicia called. She rcd. the new Gamette versions of MONAD,
VENTURE, HIGH BID, and OCTRIX. She also rcd. a letter from Jim Kraus. He included the last for her to give to me. They think there is
something missing in it and he would like my professional opinion. I'll go
there Tuesday to pick it up.
NOST-ALGIA #122 came. Nothing of particular interest. The rules of
GO are given.
While lying down to rest a few minutes thought of an idea
for a puzzle based on interwoven strips of cardboard. Later thought
of two possible names - TANGLED WEB or ENTANGLING ALLIANCES.
Claude and Anne over in the evening. Claude brought me a book
SPITE & MALICE by Easley Blackwood. (It is put out by Cornerstone
Library, Norman Monath's company. He is the inventor of BALI.)
I gave Claude my original copy of MEM.
Claude looked at RECREATIONS MATHEMATIQUES and would like to
look at the section of the Queen Puzzle. I told him i'd get
repros for him to keep.
