MONDAY 22 JUNE
1970 173rd day - 192 days to come
Called the ad agency for "Stancraft." The acount executive
wasn't in. I'll call tomorrow.
I was annoyed at BB because she hadn't taken care
of ordering the book FOUR BY FOUR for Pierre Berloquin
& myself. Told her I'd take care of it.
(cont. from 6/23) [6/23]
Her friend "Sue," who I met once, may go to work for
her. She is a game fan.
She has a meeting with Y this afternoon. She knows that
they do not give royalties on books. They give a flat fee of
around $10,000.
She took PITFALL back from "Impact," who were showing
it to "Enjay", to send it to X. "Impact" wasn't happy to
release it.
"Impact" has taken GO SEE from "Braniff" and given
it to "Continental Airlines." They should have an answer
by September.
We discussed Bob Engel & I mentioned my correspon-
dence with him. She loaned me the "Craft Master" catalog
for BB to look at.
Rcd. a letter from Haar Hoolim. More criticism of FOCUS
in connection with my telling him of its perspective
upgrading. Also some game ideas.
Rcd. a letter from Pete Gersten. Also a proposal he is using
to try and raise money for his game store. He mentions
me as a consultant for the operation.
Wrote a rather short letter to Pierre Berloquin, thanking
him again, sending him some of the material he wanted,
and telling him the status of the rest.
