FRIDAY 15 MAY
1970 135th day - 230 days to come
Brian Blake called to check if I would be available for a meeting with
Harry Lorayne at the end of next week. O.K. He'll call me next week.
Rcd. a letter from Tom Mason, Design & Development Manager
at Whitman. He told me of Bob Engel leaving. He, Tom Burger,
and Bruce Freise will be in town at the end of May or the be-
ginning of June. They would like to get together with me to
discuss upgrading FOCUS. They appreciated my comments on
DOWNFALL.
Rcd. a letter from "Lilly Elkan," an AGOG reader. She has in-
vented some GAMEs and would like to join NYGA. She
also would like the addresses of game manufacturers.
BB, Dana, & I played PROFIT. Dana didn't care too much for it.
(cont. from 5/16) [5/17]
ODYSSEY and ZODIAC III which might be a real game.
(Filed in Dr. Atwater folder.)
Jim Rockwell wasn't there but may be later in the week.
"Avalon Hill" - Saw Tom Shaw. He doesn't mind if I take awhile
in reviewing THE STOCK MARKET GAME.
A publisher who has a series of books based on
survival in primative conditions would like a GAME
based on the books. Tom asked if I would be interested
in working on the project - if I have a year to finish it.
(He realizes that it takes that long to do a game properly.)
I said sure. He'll send me the books.
"M.B." - DRIVE YA NUTS - a matching puzzle. New rack packaging
of RACK-O, THE MATCH GAME, and WILD - which was originally
STUMP but the Japanese, where it was produced, by mis-
take changed the name. A reproduction of
THE CHECKERED GAME OF LIFE and also PETER CODDLE'S TRIP and
a few other old games and puzzles. (Mickey Mackay men-
tioned that she had suggested reproductions to M.B.)
(Filed in 1970 Ad Clips.)

An action game for executives. Instructions given on
Ad Sheet. (Filed in 1970 Ad Clips.)
