SATURDAY 9 MAY
1970 129th day - 236 days to come
Not having heard from him I sent a postal letter
to Pierre Berloquin. Told him of our new dates.
Sent a letter to Jim Kraus with my suggestions for
SEARCH themes.
Sent the April PLAYTHINGS information card asking for
MOVIE MOGULS, INTERNATIONAL TENNIS, and BOTTOMS UP.
Arthur called. He saw the book SERIOUS GAMES ad-
vertised in tomorrow's Times book review. I thanked
him, and told him I already had it.
Spoke to Claude. Nothing particular about games.
Played PROFIT with the Laurences. Allowed 2
buys, 2 sales, and 2 plays, maximum. Worked
very well.
(cont. from 5/10) [5/18]
Felicia decided that we might as well send DATA also.
I'll bring it to her on Friday.
Jerry Goldstein called in answer to my call of last week. I
discussed my idea of having GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB (N.J.)
handle TAKE FIVE and TAM-BIT. We agreed that I'd call
Charles Wibel in New York and start negotiations with him.
Rcd. a letter from Pierre Berloquin. He'll expect a call on 5/31.
If it isn't too much trouble would I get him a copy of
FOUR BY FOUR by Ernest R. Ranucci.
Rcd. a letter from Barry R. Nathan, who bought AGOG,
and would like to get together. He wants to "pick my brain"
in return for a good meal.
Looked at EXECUTIVE DECISION in preparation for tomor-
row's meeting with Keith Tuggle.
[started 5/18]
