FRIDAY 17 APRIL 1970
107th day - 258 days to come
In Daily News the "At Your Service" column had the following : -
The occult holds some fascination for us all, and Parker Brothers
newest game "TOUCH", gently leads you into yet another aspect of
this fascinating world, palmistry, Maxine Lucille Fiel, a student and
practitioner of scientific hand reading for over 15 years, invented the game
which can be played a variety of ways. There are 50 large cards, each
picturing a hand with a line (Life, mentality, Heart, Fate, etc.) as it might appear
on a human hand. The object is to find cards with the lines that
match the ones in your hand (or in the hand of the person whose palm
you're reading). Then, by referring to the Master Hand Analysis Book,
you learn just what each line means and what personality traits it reveals.
"TOUCH" can be a great party ice-breaker as players try to
guess which cards and traits correspond to which guests. A history of
palmistry is included in the $4 game.
Brought SEARCH to Felicia, and signed submittal form.
She had a letter from Jim Goldsberry. ANOTHER, WINDOW PAINS, and THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS look interesting enough for further
testing and development. BRIDGET and INDIAN CHESS don't look
like much but they will look at them further. He didn't
mention UGLY CUBES and STRATEGY (which was done by a
client now living in Paris) at all. He also said they were preparing
the final push on the game program.
Rcd. a game, ASTRO-FLITE, and a personal letter from Irwin Pfeffer.
He wants me to keep it for my personal collection. He'd like
my opinion and, if I like it, to act as his agent. He first sent
one to Martin Gardner and got my name and address from
Martin.
