SUNDAY 5 APRIL
First Sunday after Easter 1970 95th day - 270 days to come
Brought the game diary up to date.
Sent the card back to GAME OF THE MONTH CLUB (N.J.) refusing
CHUTZPAH.
Wrote letter to Pierre Berloquin. Sent him the rules for
SPROUTS.
Showed CONSTANT CHALLENGE to Sylvia Bailen, the puzzle. I tried to
help her, and it is difficult. Perhaps in some of the setups I'll
include I'll show the position of some of the pieces.
(cont. from 4/8) [4/8]
[diagram of four-leaf-clover track; 12 red circle pieces on top two circuits; 12 blue circle pieces on lower two circuits]
with the 4 corner spaces alone not being
on any circuit.
Object is to capture all of the opponent's
pcs.
Rcd. the Mar-April 1970 issue of GENERAL (thanks to
Jim pushing Tom Shaw. Called Jim to thank him, also
for DIDO. He told me that Chris Wagner would like a
copy of AGOG. I said I'd send one. Eventually I'll
also give Jim another copy too.
Called Brian Blake during day. Not in. Supposed to call back
but didn't.
In Daily News was ad for three games by Father Fyanes.
These are being sold in groceries, including Finast and
Waldbaum, and the proceeds being used for education in
the dangers of drugs. The games:
IRCLE CIRCLE (Game 1) Word building with letters
IRCLE CIRCLE (Game 2) " " " word parts.
AVANTE - States that 32 educational decks are available.
