SUNDAY 22 FEBRUARY
Second Sunday in Lent
George Washington--Born 1732 1970 53rd day - 312 days to come
Peter Swift over with his GAME. It is a simple dice game
but one that is fun to play. Played two games and I
made some suggestions he liked for smoothing out the rough
edges. He asked if I would be willing to write the in-
structions. We agreed that instead of being payed to do it
I'd get 7 1/2% of whatever he makes on it.
He has some ideas for promoting the game and subcontract-
ing the manufacture. He apologized for not telling me about
them yet. He has a name but it is tied in with the pro-
motion and he didn't give me that either.
He left the game with me and I showed it to Morris
and my father. They liked it. Played 2 games with dad.
Peter brought me two prints of very old GOOSE GAMES he
found at the old print room of the 42nd St. library.
Put them with LE NOBLE JEU DE L'OIE, which I showed him.
Phil Orbanes called. Bob Hallowell is going to his house
Tuesday afternoon. Then they will come here for sup-
per, including Jim Dunnigan, and to look at my games.
Claude called. Date for Wednesday. Nothing particularly about
games.

Parker and they weren't interested. He thought
they should have been.)

spaces of a 16 x 16 quadrille (decorated to look like a pic-
ture of the moon's surface). There are 100 blue, 100 orange,

in the space. Object is to surround territory. Any enemy
