MONDAY 15 DECEMBER 1969
349th day - 16 days to come
Home from work and finished the illustration for THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS. Reworked the rules for TROMINO GO and packaged it.
Autographed and mailed out copies of A GAMUT OF GAMES to Jim Krauss and Kathy Brooks at 3M, to Alfons Rubbens of House of Games, and to Parker Brothers* c/o Constance Herrick. (Will have to send her a covering letter.)
Wrote a letter to Jim Rockwell on reducing the number of pegs in INTERPLAY and ODD OR EVEN.
Felicia called, after calling at the office. Wanted to know when Ed Webber started working for the,. Didn't know, and later found a letter that gave the info. Told me that Arnold Shapiro sent her a letter about AGOG. He said that there were ideas in it that they probably would want to use when, and if, they get started.
Called Sally Kovalchick to thank her for the first copy of the 2nd printing of AGOG. She said that I'll be collecting a whole ____ [rad?] of them.
Called IMPACT to ask about copyright notices on the games. Yes. Spoke to Bob - pleasant. Then to Jerry and I'll bring THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS and TROMINO GO to his office Wednesday.
In the letter to Jim Rockwell suggested an ODD SOLITAIRE, the ob-ject being to place 30 pegs following the rules for "Odd."
A solution is:
[a drawing of a potential solution, set up in a grid format]
Inscribed "To all the wonderful people at Parker Brothers. With thanks."
