Stan Harris called. He found the model of AIRLINE. Early next year they will start working on it, the final stages that is since they have done a lot of costing, etc.
Dan Ferrone of Impact called. He said that Felicia and Jerry had spoken and came to an agreement on terms, but that he and Jerry worked on different projects and asked me about working on a MOON Moon Landing GAME for Gulf. I said that Felicia said I should be paid for my time. he agreed, but not too happily. He is in a hurry for one and I said I'd try to have something by the end of X'Mas weekend. I said I'd call Felicia and have her call him.
Felicia called me soon after. Her deal with [illegible] Jerry amounts to 10% royalties on retail selling price, if sold, or computed on in the case of mailings, such as for Enjay. Jerry wants TROMINO GO and THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS at once to show the people at Enjay. If any of And as many as 4 more may be required. If one or more of the games are popular in the mailing Esso may put them in service stations for wide distribution like NORTHWEST PASSAGE. Even for the mailing it will amount to $2,500 per game. I asked Fe told Felicia that in view of the good deal we were getting I should take a chance with them and not be paid for my time in developing a game on speculation. Felicia agreed. She said they are preparing a brochure and would feature me in it. I asked her to have Jerry call me about the Enjay games.
Jerry called me and he said that he thinks that THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS with 4 different solutions would be preferable. Said I'd try to have the 2 games ready by Tuesday. He wants to get together for me to demonstrate the games to him.
Diane sent me a beautiful review of AGOG from CRAFT, MODEL & HOBBY INDUSTRY Magazine. Called to thank her. Not in and didn't call back. Made a number of repros.
In evening tried THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS with BB. Played that the direction of the pointer on the disc turned indicated the one of the 8 outer discs to be turned next. If the same disc is indicated the center one is called for. Worked, but was slow moving and dull.
Thought of going back to the pointer pointing tp the next disc tp be turned directly. This much be turned to link colors with the previous pointer. If already linked the other must be used, leaving no choice.
