SUNDAY 30 NOVEMBER 1969
St. Andrew, Apostle
First Sunday in Advent
334th day - 31 days to come
Red, a long distance call from "Harold Brodsky" in Florida.
He has a copy of AGOG and thinks it is a work of art.
He has a puzzle GAME, which he would like to get my opinion
on. He'll send a description of it to me.
Wrote retters to Tom Atwater
Al Samuels (aco)
Al Rubbens (House of Games)
Susan Vibert (Pace Mag)
Tom Shaw (A.H.)
Solomon Golomb
Heinz Wittenberg (Who wanted my book)
Patent Office (for missing patent)
Joe Weisbecker (with review of DECISIONS-DECISIONS)
Thought of allowing each player two moves in a row
with no restrictions in COUNTERPOINT. Tried it by myself
and it didn't work. Usually a player could form a scoring
position easily. If he couldn't, there is no incentive to do any-
thing else.
Claude called. He had bought WHY at a thrift shop for
$1. Have it already. He also bought a construction set,
CONNECT-A-CARD (I think) which has a large number of
cards in 4 colors and 2 sizes and various plastic connectors.
He thinks they are good for game equipment. He bought
it at a discount place for $2 and I asked him to get it
for me.
Sunday Times had an ad for COMPUT-A-TUTOR in a
store in Hartsdale. Will to try to go there to look at it.)
(cont. from 12/3) [12/3]
he just scoved in. This would allow completed figures to
remain on the board and it would be possible for a player
to remove pcs. from two figures and then return them in
the next play, unless the opponent stopped it.
[Preprinted in red ink]
Have you ordered your diary for next year? See number in front of book.
