THURSDAY 27 NOVEMBER 1969
Thanksgiving Day
331st day - 34 days to come
Started putting stuff away in the 6 storage boxes I
put together last Saturday.
Played COUNTERPOINT with Morris against Dave & Ricki.
Then Ricki and I played half of a game & had to break
it up. Dave & Ricki liked it a lot. Morris didn'y
understand it.
Danny Philips saw a set of PRIMERO cards in England
but they cost about 30 pounds, and he didn't
think I'd want to spend that much (Right!)
Arthur called. Told him about DYNASTY. He would like
to see it, when I get one.

Showed CORPORATION which he thought might interest
Coppertone as a beach game.
Showed THESE UNITED STATES. He thought the model was
great. He said he could get me vinyl sheets for overlays
that stick. (I'm pretty sure he'll forget unless remind
him.)
When looking at this before I found that I hadn't
included EMPIRES as one of the games in the rules. (The
game is in the '67 diary.)
Showed him MATCHED SET and HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME.
Wasn't too much impressed with them.
He is interested in a "Moon Landing" GAME for Gulf, who
sponsors the Apollo flights on TV. He left me a book
from NASA to get ideas.
He asked about INTERPLAY ODD OR EVEN, and TEMPO, which I hadn't put away. Started to tell him about the story
behind them but, politely, he said he hadn't seen a thing.
Before Jerry came Fay Hertog called. A John Blake, who saw the
article in SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, called and wanted to contact
me. They don't give out my address or phone number but she
gave me his:

I called and spoke to John. He has a connection with
Harry Lorayne, the memory expert, who is interested in a game
based on his memory system. I said that I could be
interested in the project. Gave him my telephone numbers and he'll
contact me. He also knows Hallowell of BRIDGEVERYONE.
Added colors to my reproductions of the MATRIX diagrams.
