FRIDAY 21 NOVEMBER 1969
Presentation of B. V. Mary
325th day - 40 days to come
Called Sally Kovalchick. To thank her about clipping from
WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY. She was busy so we spoke only a moment.
To Felicis at lunch time.
Signed a copy of AGOG that Felicia bought at Doubleday for her to give to
Diane Hoisel.
Took the letter from Jim Krauss on SPELLBINDER. Reproduced it
and will return it. She'll check with Arnold Shapiro if he is interested.
Asked Felicia about the article on Stock Market GAME's she mentioned
on 2/28. She thought possibly it might have been in PRINTER'S INK mag.
She looked for it but couldn't find it.
Asked about Connor's new GAME, still didn't come.
Ask Asked if it would be a good idea to send a copy of AGOG
to Constance Herrick and sign it "To all the wonderful people
at Parker"
Looked at KNIGHT'S ERRANT. There are a series of concentric
numbers circles with numbered spaces, in random series from about
with numbers from about 1 to 6. Players start by throwing
their "knight" on the board. The one near the highest number goes
first. He moves that number from the starting space on the
outside circle. After this the succeeding players move the number
that the preceeding player landed on. Move around a
circle till land on short path leading to next inside circle.
Object to move center and rescue the "princess". A player
can capture the "princess" from another player by landing on him.
Win by bringing "princess" back to starting space. (Fairly
complete rules but can be off a little.)
We'll get together after my meeting on 12/2 with IMPACT
and discuss just what to do with my games.
Took home the rules of MATRIX and also the book with
pictures of the various games. Reproduced a lot of it.
Rcd. galleys of the rules for ODD OR EVEN, INTERPLAY, and
TEMPO for me to check and return to Stancraft "at my
earliest convenience".
