SUNDAY 16 NOVEMBER
Twenty Fourth Sunday after Trinity 1969 320th day - 45 days to come
Times had an ad for game ZODIAC ($4.95 plus 75¢ hand-
ling).
Played COUNTERPOINT with BB. Discovered that [zigzag shape] and [open bracket shape] could not be used
since each could be reformed by moving one pc. With BB's help came up
with the following five four configurations: - [|, Z, + and X shapes]. We played to
75 points. The last points went very slowly. it will probably be better
to set 60 points as a game.
Wrote a letter to Phil Cohen. BB will type it tomorrow.
My father called. Richard Ferber saw my book and wants to buy
a copy. Dad wants to get it wholesale from me to give as a gift
to Richard.
Spoke to Claude on phone. Read him what Phil Cohen said
about LOA.
(cont. from 11/17) [12/5]
He'll be at Renwal next week but doesn't think he'll
have time to contact me. We'll get together at the Toy
Fair.
Called Stan Harris. They are doing the House of Games games.
My reccommendation, he said, had some weight. But
they are still continuing with their own Renwal-Gamescience
line. My two, TAM-BIT and TAKE FIVE will be in the
latter. They are almost complete, as are the other
4 games in the line and they are producing
5000 of each as a start. He'll get some to me in January.
He is afraid that my model for AIRLINE was thrown
out in a cleanup while he was away. However it is al-
most sure that they will be doing the game, either
at $5 or at $8. He will contact me next week to let
me know if he can find the model. I checked after
speaking to him & I have all the information on the game
at home.
